Owners of 3BD Realty, LLC and ThreeBigDogs, Inc., Arthur and Lori Stewart, envision a marketplace where local vendors open the doors of a hundred-year-old warehouse to welcome the surrounding community and tourists of Gettysburg. A step inside will be sure to highlight all that Gettysburg has to offer. A walk through the market will find an abundance of produce, an array of prepared foods and baked goods; and crafts from some of the best artists in town.
“For years we stored our client’s exhibits and products, but due to the pandemic, we now have the opportunity to grow into other possibilities that we always dreamed about for this location,” says Art while he walks the floors of the over one-hundred year old warehouse. “We have many ideas, but our first priority is to help the community and offer a location for a farmer’s market all-year around. This gives us more opportunity to shop small and support local business ”
The location of the market is in a warehouse where many Gettysburg residents’ family worked. Once it was a furniture store, another time the warehouse protected canons for repair – now, the warehouse should continue to give back to the community by providing revenue opportunities especially during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
